JUST DANDY HORSE AND
CARRIAGE SERVICES
was started in 1998.
Sarah has been driving horses for eight years and has been involved with horses since the age of four.
Sarah was trained by Alf Selby and he is still
involved with the business.
Alf has trained many people over
the years, including a pupil who is the Head Coachman to the Queen.
Just Dandy Horse and Carriage Services has two grooms that work with Sarah, Emma and Sara, who have been around horses all their lives and who own their own horses.
We offer a pair of matched horses, Dellboy and Rodney.
Dellboy was found by Sarah doing the egg round in Hastings and was the perfect horse for the job we were undertaking.
Rodney is the newest edition to our family, after months of training he did his first outing at the Dickens Festival parade. We were all very proud of him as he did so well. He has now done several weddings and again has been perfect.
The Victorian carriage we used to have was a lovely set-up, but unfortunately was stolen in 2002, so with this in mind we decided to buy a more commerical carriage, the Vis-Á-Vis. This is now our main wedding carriage.
We also offer our lovely 8-seated wagonette for other events such as anniversaries, high street rides, school fairs, social evenings or personal rides.
